Art Portfolio

FACULTY:  Anna Ackers (Fine Arts), Corrie Witt (Photography)

  • Receive an intensive introduction the discipline of free-hand drawing and illustration
  • Emphasis is on media, concepts, drawing from observation, two and three dimensional studies and individual technique development
  • Students learn to analyze nonverbal communication and influences as well as communicate their thoughts and feelings through a variety of techniques
  • Students produce professional grade portfolios which can be used for art school scholarship competition
  • Students have several opportunities to present their work throughout the year
  • College credit available

1st year – 1 Technology, 2 Elective

2nd year – 3 Elective

Art Educator, Art Historian/Curator, Environmental Designer, Fine Artist (ceramics, drawing, installation, painting, print-making, sculpture, and fiber), Graphic Designer, Illustrator, Interactive Media Specialist, Film Maker, Product Designer
