  • Gain the Skills necessary to install and maintain electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
  • Study circuitry, national and local codes and the fundamentals of electricity.
  • Prepare to enter a four-year apprenticeship program.
  • Industry certification opportunities and college credit available.

CERTIFICATION OPPORTUNITIES:

National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) – Core and Electric Levels 1 and 2, OSHA 10 Hour Card, First Aid and CPR, AED, Powder Actuated Nailer, Highlift, Skid Steer Loader and Forklift.

HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT:

1st year – 1 Technology, 2 Elective

2nd year – 3 Elective

COLLEGE PARRNERS/CREDITS EARNED:

Columbus State Community College:  Up to 3 Semester Hours

POSSIBLE CAREER PATHS:

Immediate employment, Apprenticeship, 2 and 4 year college
